Founder of the Mortgage Equity Group, Philip Tirone is a powerhouse mortgage broker who specializes in difficult-to-obtain loans.  He spent his first years as a mortgage broker working with borrowers with subprime credit scores, and quickly developed techniques to help clients with bad credit, no credit, bankruptcy, and stated incomes secure home loans. This expertise has allowed him to continue finding loans for borrowers, in spite of the credit crunch.

Upon working with clients and studying tens of thousands of credit reports, Philip Tirone began noticing that people who would have made great borrowers were consistently turned down for loans because of their credit scores.  In response, he developed 7 Steps to a 720 Credit Score, as well as a corresponding workbook that became one of Nightingale-Conant’s top sellers.

Philip Tirone’s book and workbook, as well as his teleseminar, teach borrowers to save hundreds-sometimes even thousands-of dollars a month by analayzing how their credit cards influence their credit scores.  He also helps people bounce back from financial disasters by teaching them facts about bankruptcy, foreclosure, collections, and repossession.

Philip Tirone has asked President Obama to help stimulate the economy by joining his outreach efforts and teaching millions of consumers to save $300 a month in intereste payments.

Philip Tirone has been featured in articles on credit and mortgage trends in the Los Angeles Times, New York Times.com, Wall Street Journal, Newsday, Woman’s World Magazine, San Jose Mercury News, Bottom Line Magazine, Bankrate.com, and several others.  As a guest lecturer at UCLA, he helps students avoid the “Mortgage Lifestyle Dilemma,” a phrase he coined to describe the problems that arise when people overextend themselves by taking on high monthly mortgage payments.

Philip Tirone was named Arizona State University’s Man of the Year upon graduating with a real estate degree in 1994.  Since then, he has continued to receive acclaim, most recently in Dan Sullivan’s book Industry Transformers.  He was also featured in the New York Times best-seller, Secrets of the Young & Successful.
